APBA releases 2021 baseball carded player list

For those who are patiently waiting for the new 2021 APBA baseball cards, the Company has a bit of a teaser. They have released the list of players who will receive APBA cards for the 2021 season.

According to the last APBA Newsletter, you can download the list in pdf form on the Delphi Between the Lines forum not the APBA website itself. Note that you may have to create a login to to view the site.

While replayers are still waiting for the cards themselves, the carded player list means a lot for some APBA league members. With the release of the list, I gained four draft picks. Players who didn’t play much like Eric Yardley (17 G, 18 2/3 IP) and surprisingly Wilson Ramos (44 G, 151 AB) were not carded and therefore, I’ll get a draft pick in their stead.

Rollout schedule

The APBA Company doesn’t have a firm release date for the cards but states they will be released in the APBA Go format by “late November”.

This is their rollout schedule according to the newsletter:

The current release schedule for the 2021 baseball season products is the same time frame as the past. This means that 2021 APBA GO files are available late November. We will start shipping the 2021 baseball card sets January 10th. The 2021 BBW file and CD will be available around January 24th. As in the past, we do not take pre-orders. The 2021 player list will be available during the World Series

And if you haven’t already, make sure you vote in The APBA Blog 2021 Pitching Grade Challenge before those cards come out. In three days, I have already received more entries than ever before! Great response!

  2. John:

Forty one years for your league is a huge accomplishments. Our Central Florida League, OAPBA, just finished its 34th season (www.oapba.org).. That is a long time, but nothing like what you ad your fellow league managers have accomplished. Well done.

  3. Can you send me an article or explanation of the OF’s arms and when and where it’s safe to try to take the extra base or score.

  4. The Down Under Baseball League began in 1978. We currently have 28 teams and play a modified version of the tabletop basic game. We have 27 managers at the moment. Give me a shout if you are looking for a fun, stable dice league.
