When you review the list, you see a few teams from the same dynasty. I see three Baltimore teams from the late 60s-early 70s. There’s the Brewers from the early 80s and Oakland As from the late 80s.

I see my friend Nick Tegeler has chosen the 1982 Expos and I had already chosen the ’85 Expos. Would love for the two of us to end up in the final!

Finally, I noticed there were no Boston Red Sox teams chosen. That kind of surprised me.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago! Good luck to all!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
