With the release of the 2024 season on APBA GO on Friday afternoon, there are new kids on the block. And some of them look pretty spiffy.
For starters, take a look at 2024 Aaron Judge. He had a phenomenal season for the Yanks this year. Batting .322, he led the league with 58 homers, 144 rbis, a .458 OBP and a hearty .701 slugging percentage.
If that wasn’t enough, the center fielder led the AL with 133 walks, too. He did ground into 22 double plays which was enough to pace the league as well.
All that was enough for Aaron Judge to take home the AL MVP this year.

Judging Judge
First of all, Aaron Judge received an OF-3 defensive rating. The APBA card makers must not have been watching Game 5 of the World Series game, eh? I joke. Friends of mine who are Judge fans didn’t think he would get that, error or no.
But on to the fun stuff. Aaron Judge regains his monster status from 2022. It may even be slightly better as it is five full extra base numbers not watered down by double columns. Judge received 1-1-1-6-6, a killer with a runner on third. Judge was the only full time player in the 2024 set who had a 33-1.
In addition, he was given a 15-10 along with the standard 8-8-8-9-9 combo. So he does lose his 55-7 from 2022.
One possible reason for that is that he was given an extra fourteen, a total of six. Nice! His three 24s are bearable considering he was the league leader in GIDP.
Because of the number of 14s and 24s, APBA had to get creative when it came to placement of his seven 13s. He has a 43-13, a 32-13 and a 52-13.
All in all, a fantastic card that can be realistically played 158 games in a season.
Since the beginning, the point of the Card Computer is to predict what card APBA will produce.
I’m always looking to improve the placement of results in the Card Computer. I love cards like this – there’s so much STUFF that crowds out usual results, and the art is WHERE to put all the results.
The card computer gets the placement of all the hits and walks correct. (Yay!) And even the 62-22! 7 13s – check.
What I got wrong:
– APBA puts the 13 on 32 and the RP on 21.
– APBA gives another 24 (at 26), which requires a 43-13
– 53-16 instead of 53-15
