Suggested by Pastor Rich Zawadzki, this 1936 Hal Trosky card is quite simply fun. Just to look at it, it is a thing of beauty.
In 1936, Trosky led the AL with 405 total bases and 162 bases with the Indians. He had ample extra base hits with 45 doubles and almost as many homers with 42. He even managed 9 triples. He could hit for average too with 216 hits and a .343 batting average.

Depending on your source, Trosky was born as Harold “Trojovsky” or “Troyavesky”. Either way, he shortened his name by just taking the first three and last three letters of his last name. You try it!
