Misc. and Etc.

Just a few things I want to cover:

Plug for APBA Between the Lines

Most of you already know about Delphi’s APBA- Between the Lines forum.  However, judging from some of the emails I get, there are plenty of APBA fans out there who haven’t heard of it.  I’d hazard to say that it’s the largest online gathering of APBA fans out there.  At BTL, you can share information, check out the classifieds, or just simply shoot the bull.

Again, most of you know it’s there but for those who don’t, I highly encourage you check it out.  It’s free and only requires that you register.

APBA Blog is on Twitter

I’ve set up a Twitter account for The APBA Blog.  For those who don’t want to be bothered with visiting the site everyday to see what’s new (or IF there’s anything new), an update will be sent to @theapbablog whenever I post an article complete with a link to the article.

You can follow The APBA Blog @theapbablog.

Note:  I don’t know if there is an established search tag for APBA.  If there is, let me know.  For the time being, I’m tagging my posts with #apbagames (I didn’t want #APBA to be confused with the American Powerboat Association).

The APBA Blog is looking for article submissions

The content on this site has leaned a little heavy towards dice baseball (I write what I know).  I welcome anyone out there who would like to write an article on computer APBA or any of the other APBA sports games.  For that matter, I’d entertain articles on dice baseball as well.  Differing points of view would make this a better site.

If you’re interested in contributing an article, just send me an email.

Thomas Nelshoppen

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
