John Asalon puts APBA on the air

Let’s face it. If people like us aren’t playing APBA, we’re talking about it, right.  Well, John Asalon has taken it to higher level.

Have you all had a chance to check out John’s new streaming radio show, This Week in APBA?  He interviews the movers and shakers of the APBA world.  So far, there are six episodes out.  You can listen to them live and sometimes even participate by chatting with others.  If you can’t, the episodes are still there for you to listen.

There have been some great guests so far.  Most notable, is the head honcho himself APBA CEO John Herson who guest starred in TWIA Episode #5.

Here is the full listing so far:

TWIA Episode #1: 2017 World Series Pre-Play

TWIA Episode #2

TWIA Episode #3: Mike McCune talks about the TGA Tour

TWIA Episode #4: Interviews with Rich Zawadski and Roy Langhans

TWIA Episode #5: TWIA #5 John Herson Q & A

TWIA Episode #6: John Asalon welcomes Brian Cavanaugh to talk about his introducing APBA baseball to the Boys and Girls Club in Philadelphia.

This is a fantastic idea and while I’m still making my way through these six episodes, I’m looking forward to more.

Great idea, John!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as the BBW Boys of Summer APBA League since 2014. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

  1. What I would like is to know how to make an episode play. I follow the links, tap on show #1 or any, and I just have a black box to look at. I have a meeting fairly new iPhone so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Same thing happens on an older phone and my somewhat old laptop. Erik S.
