Lajoie and Tannehill star in Scott Fennessy’s 1904 AL replay

The deadball fiend is at it again. Scott Fennessy sends in a recap of his 1904 American League replay.

With help from Jesse Tannehill, the Red Sox went 102-38. Tannehill won 27 of those games with a 2.20 ERA. Napoleon Lajoie took the MVP award by hitting a league-leading .338.

Scott wrote up a pretty nifty recap. Rod Caborn, I think you have inspired Scott to develop his replay documentation because he has upped his game.

Take the the time to read it because Scott puts a lot of love (and some good background information, too) into this.

thanks, Scott!

I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
