It’s the homestretch: one week left in the Pitching Grade Challenge!

With one week left, we’re heading into the homestretch of the 2022 Pitching Grade Challenge.  If you have already voted, thank you.  We’re approaching last year’s record-breaking response.

If you haven’t submitted your ballot, now is the time.  It only takes a few minutes. Meanwhile, I would like to thank a few people for their assistance.

John Herson and the APBA Games Company is helping by sponsoring the grand prize for the Pitching Grade Challenge.  John has done this for all five of the Challenges.  His support is very much appreciated!

Baseball Reference has been my go-to stats website for years.  It was very helpful in getting this year’s Challenge up and going.

Finally, the now defunct APBA Journal, who held a similar mail-in grade-guessing contest years ago, was the original inspiration for the Challenge when I started this five years ago.  Thanks to those who were involved.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
