Bruce Norlander peers into his crystal ball

crystal-ballYesterday, I posted about Mike Bunch’s predictions for our Illowa APBA League.  Now, I think Mike’s card forecasts are top notch but the APBA community as a whole look to Bruce Norlander at the end of each MLB season for some guidance for what next year’s card will look like.

Bruce (seen left… just kidding that’s not him)has does this for many years and has finely tuned this process.  For years, he posted his predictions on the APBA- Between the Lines forum but in recent years, he posts them on his website.

Here are his 2013 NL pitching grades predictions

There’s also a follow-up discussion going on at the Between the Lines forum if you care to join in.  Registration is required but it’s free.

For those who want to find out more about Bruce Norlander, Mike Estep did an interview with him for the APBA Blog last year.  I found it a good read at the time because I found out a few things about Bruce I didn’t know.

Excuse me while I peruse Bruce’s predictions for a while.  :)

Update:  I’m adding a MG to Basic Game conversion chart

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
