Hi Fans!
For those anxiously awaiting the cards and disk for the 2020 baseball season (yes you, Dodger fans!), the APBA Company has some relevant information on their website now.
Most relevant is this:
APBA WILL OFFER THE USUAL 2020 BASEBALL SEASON PRODUCTS: (1) A 900 CARD (30 CARDS PER TEAM) SET, (2) AN XC SET OF THE REMAINING PLAYERS THAT PLAYED IN THE 2020 SEASON, (3) AN APBA GO FILE (WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE AROUND THANKSGIVING, (4) BBW CD AND (5) BBW FILE. ONLY THE APBA GO FILE WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE MID-JANUARY. WE DO NOT TAKE PRE-ORDERS.
No definitive word on when cards will be available but I can gather from the wording that they will be available sometime in January or February.
APBA Company’s hours
The Company also wanted to make it aware of the its availability as we approach the holiday season.
APBA WILL CLOSE AT THE END OF THE BUSINESS DAY ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16TH. ALL ORDERS PLACE BY THEN WILL BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED. APBA WILL REOPEN MONDAY, JANUARY 4TH.
AT APBA, WE OFFER BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, HOCKEY, SOCCER AND GOLF GAMES. IF YOU ARE HAVING WITHDRAWALS FROM ONE OF THESE SPORTS, CHECK APBA OUT. GET IN THE GAME TODAY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CONTACT US AT . WE ARE NOT TAKING PHONE ORDERS AT THIS TIME.
Most fans I have talked to will attest to much better response times when using their customer support email address.
I know some of us want to speak to a real person sometimes when addressing an issue. As someone in a customer support field, I understand the need for having one point of communication. It’s in everyone’s interest to have the communication documented.
This schedule is not much different than it was in previous years.
Pitching Grade Challenge update
Your ballots for the 2020 APBA Blog Pitching Grade Challenge have been filling my inbox as of late. I’m amazed of the response this year! Keep them coming!
If you have not voted yet, here is info on the Challenge which includes a link to the ballot. Your vote matters!

I’m a Braves fan dating back 1948 when they won the National League title. I’ve seen them play live in uniforms of Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta.
I’ve also played in APBA leagues as both the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves back in the late 1970s and early ’80s.
Please keep me posted on membership, game purchase of 2020 cards, etc.
Any leagues in Rhode Island?
