Remodeling The APBA Blog

Don’t worry, you’re still at The APBA Blog.  I decided to give the site a facelift.  It’s been a while and I thought the old look was getting a bit worn.  That and there were a few features I wanted to implement that just weren’t possible with the old theme.  Hope you like it.

I like the layout better now.  Looks more professional in my opinion.  Also, the comment section is much easier to read.

If you like it , hate it, have any suggestions or if something is not working, please let me know.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

  1. I love the new look. Well done!! Far more visually appealing and up to date. I am a new visitor to the APBA Blog, about a month ago, and enjoy having an online space to read about APBA, which I am just now getting back into after a 35 year absence.

  2. Nice work, Tom although being a creature of habit the other format was well done also. I couldn’t help but noticing whose card was used for the site- big Albert’s naturally. I think Miguel Cabrera’s card might look good out there too.

  3. nice eye! Definitely Albert.

I called Cabrera about it. He yelled something like “Do you know who I am?!”

    ;-)

  4. I’ve darkened the text a bit. It was bit too faint on my old eyes. :)
