I’m getting a good look at the numbers for the 2009 APBA Baseball disk file today. I thought I’d play around a bit and break it down number-wise. After some sorting and filtering, here is the 2009 set by the numbers.
Today, I’m strictly looking at the position players. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll break down the pitchers.

johnny damon’s arm… ouch!
We Boston fans know… Looks like Jesus, behaves like Judas, throws like Mary.
haha hadn’t heard that before.
Woo hoo! I have the fastest Molina brother on my team. :)
Thanks for the summary.
I play in 2 leagues and have 2 of the 3 nine catchers, one in each league. mauer in 1 and Y Molina the speed demon in the other.
BZ – it made more sense when he was with the Red Sox and was allowed to grow his hair out.
In your breakdown of the best and worst fielders, I’m assuming you left it out because i haven’t seen one in decades, but 6 is the highest thirdbaseman rating. i’ve only seen two in all the games i’ve played. I think brooks robinson was a six once.
