Rod Woodward sends in this nasty 2013 Miguel Cabrera card. I always hesitate to give Miggy his due. That’s probably because I wasn’t smart enough to draft him. In 13 years, he’s already hit close to 400 homers and driven in almost 1400 runs. I can’t argue with those numbers.
In 2013, Cabrera hit 44 homers and drove in 137 while leading the AL in hitting (.348), slugging (.636), and OBP (.442). He scored over 100 and even stole three bases (yes, I find that funny).

It’s an amazing card for the post-steroid era (it IS, right?). Miguel has power coming out the wahzoo with numbers 1-1-5-6 but even better, he has hit numbers to back it up. He has three 7s out to 15.
Cabrera has a decent amount of 14s. A total of four. He’s also has a 21-22 for those days when you want to hit him (I didn’t say that). He has two 31s. For some reason, Ted Williams didn’t deserve two.
Fun numbers: 33-5, 15-7, 3B-3 (it’s a gift)
Cabrera trivia: There have been at least nine Cabreras that have played in the majors this decade. Some better than others.
thanks, Rod!
