The 2013 APBA Baseball Carded list is here!
You can download the pdf version from the APBA website. Between the Lines forum moderator Kevin Cluff has posted an Excel version on the forum as well (thanks, Kevin!)
It’s a big day for APBA baseball players in general. Everyone wants to see who gets a card. It’s an especially important for some leagues, though. The carded list may make the difference between a league team having two picks or four depending if that player with 75 at bats or that pitcher with 30 innings pitched gets a card from APBA.
While there are 30 players per team and they will all look the same, APBA has kept true to its word and delineated an artificial difference between “regular cards” and “XB cards”. They did this by bolding the XBs on the list. This was done because many use this difference in determining eligibility for league play.
My personal beef: Yasmani Grandal received a card. I had hopes that I could get a rookie draft pick for him. :)
