Chris on APBA: On Playing One Day At A Time

Q: In BBW, is there any way to preset that automatic games in background mode will either ‘shutdown at the end of the game’ or ‘shutdown at the end of day’?  It’s true that once I start the games in background mode, I can go down the menu in League Manager and select those shutdown options.  The problem is, my computer is so fast that by the time I can make that selection several days of games have played.  Is there a trick to tell the game to shutdown in advance of starting the background games playing?

A.        No there isn’t.  However, there is a workaround:  start the game in Spectator mode instead of Background mode.  Then you will have plenty of time to set the parameters.  Once your parameters are set, minimize your spectator game and the teams will play at their usual quick speed until your stop date or game.
