Geoff from Facebook’s APBA Football is proposing something pretty exciting for APBA gridiron fans… a 2013 convention geared around APBA Football at the home of the Pro Football Hall Fame.
“FOOTBALL CONVENTION 2013: OK, gang. I’m within a few days of pulling the trigger on a nice little venue in the Midwest for a first-of-its-kind gridiron-only get-together. Ideally we’ll reach a head count of at least 25. I’m trying to avoid any overlap with the traditional main APBA event, but this venue — which happens to be the Pro Football Hall of Fame — is open longest between Memorial Day and Labor Day. So, for two days say in late June or mid- to late August, we could use the space from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with what I’m being told is unlimited touring of the facility. So maybe this is a less-formal gaming structure — but with a catered light lunch in the middle of our NFL mecca.”

I’d respond to him if he had a way other than via Facebook, which I am not now (and never will be) a member of…perhaps if you have his email you could mention that to him.
