It seems I keep hearing from more and more APBA fans from Wisconsin. Tom Kohn writes in from Appleton, Wisconsin about his league called the Hog Dog Brandt Memorial Baseball League. The Hog Doggers use the Master Game which I think is starting to make a slight comeback in the APBA circle.
The crew of HDBMBL play at a local sports bar every week. Great idea! Maybe APBA leagues can take the cue from local softball leagues and have the bar sponsor them. It could alleviate the cost of buying cards, right?
Either way, I bet it’s a lot of fun and I’m sure it’s a good recruiting ground for new APBA fans.
