League Profile: World Baseball Organization (there’s an opening!)

Dan Levine contacted the APBA Blog to tell us about the World Baseball Organization APBA baseball league.  He’s also advertising a couple open manager positions in the league too.  See below for more info.

The WBO is a Basic Game league which uses Ballscore/BallStat to keep stats.

Does your league… with modifications

Dan’s comments:

Current year play, full season, card/dice, basic game with modifications, using Ballstat/Ballscore for stats, solitaire style play (emailing instructions to opponents).

Great bunch of guys. Available teams feature: 1. Harper, Kinsler, Sal Perez, Bumgarner, Cueto, King Felix, Scherzer 2. Stanton, Pujols, Wright, Pedroia, Mauer, Matt Adams, Cain, Gio, Buchholz…..

Email me if interested .

Dan tells me that the WBO is a really fun league and they just need to fill in some manager positions that were recently vacated.  If you’re interested, shoot him an email or leave a comment.

If you want to brag about your league, we’re listening!  Tell us all about the league you are in and we’ll post a profile about it.  In the meantime, read about other leagues who have written in.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
