It seems the past couple of years has been a difficult for some APBA leagues. The Lame Duck Baseball Association (LDBA) is no exception. Currently playing its 41st season, the LDBA has lost three managers and is looking to replace them.
LDBA’s Neil Leininger reached out to me in hopes of putting out the word. Below is info about the league in case anyone is interested in joining. As a member of a long-standing league myself, I want to see them succeed, especially one that has been around for 40-plus years.

Hi Thomas, I hope all is well with you. It seems the struggle is tough this year for APBA leagues. Anyway, we are looking for 3, and would appreciate your help in letting the community know. Here is our ad for new members.
The LDBA (Lame Duck Baseball Association) is in need of a few replacement managers. Unfortunately, we had a few members drop out for various reasons during the season. The season is almost over (2 more months), so if anyone is interested then please send me an email and we can see if it’s the right fit for you. The LDBA is a basic league with modifications aimed at adding more realism without going to the full master game.
The LDBA is a continuous ownership email league that plays the most current APBA season. The season is 162 games starting in April with the regular season ending in November. There are 20 teams in the league and each team has a 40-man roster, and up to 3 uncarded players, with a 26 man active roster for games. The modifications include the use of the Coxx chart, unexpected/error randomizing chart and individual control and homerun ratings in lieu of the K, X, Y, W, Z and G, H ratings amongst some of the modifications. If you are still interested in the league, then I can send you a link to the league website for you to check it out.
Please check out the Lame Duck Baseball Association website. If you are interested in becoming a manager, leave a comment and I’ll make sure Neil sees it.
Good luck to Neil and the LDBA in finding some good managers!
Hi, not sure if I’m too late but I’m interested in joining an APBA league.
