2009 IAL All-Star weekend

The Illowa APBA League is having its All-Star weekend starting today.  We each got a series or two of regular season games in this evening.  If you must know how I did, I’m currently 2-6 for the weekend.  I haven’t done my stats yet but Geovany Soto and Ray Durham are doing well.  Tom Glavine (DW) did manage to get a win.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

One Comment:

  1. Needless to say, the East Division was victorious! All-Star MVP Ryan Howard hit 2 homers to lead the REAL good guys… :)

It was a good weekend! The Highlanders went 14-16, which was not so good, unfortunately….
