I got permission from the boys and girls club to take some kids to convention for a day trip. We are gonna day trip on July 16th, the Saturday so we can put some teams in the tournament. I’m so excited!!!
I think this is fantastic! We all know how much APBA needs a new generation of players and Brian is sure doing his part in evangelizing about the game to the younger crowd.
I told Brian to pass this little bit of info to his kids at the Boys and Girls Club: one of the most successful players at the APBA Convention Tournaments was a kid. Brian Wells won his first tournament in 2002 at the age of 9. Six years later in 2008, Brian won again when he was 15.
