League Trophies: Lame Duck Baseball Association

Jeff Cory of the Lame Duck Baseball Association wrote in response to my article asking about how APBA leagues reward their winners.  He sent in this photo of Tom Johnson proudly holding his trophy after winning the LDBA 2009 championship.

Nice trophy, guys!  Like the IAL, the LDBA went local with their choice of trophy and it looks great.

If any other league wants to share how they reward their champions, please feel free to do so.  You can post the photo on The APBA Blog Facebook page or submit to me at this page.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
