MWBL continuing Christmas Classic Home Run Derby tradition

Christmas ClassicStray Corrado tells me that the Mid-west Baseball League is announcing the continuation of their holiday tradition of the MWBL Christmas Classic Home Run Derby.  The 2014 Christmas Classic will be held at HoHoKam Park in Honolulu, Hawaii

It’s becoming a tradition now it seems with the Mid-West League as I remember them doing it in past years.  The rules for the Home Run Derby are pretty simple.  You can find them on MWBL’s web site.  In short, the league uses percentile dice (two 10-sided dice) and each player is assigned a percentage based on their real life homerun percentage.

Good luck and have fun!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
