I’m hoping everyone had a nice Thanksgiving today.
I truly am thankful for all of great people I have met through this game. You are unique in your own way but we all are similar in our love for sports and the game of APBA.
Enjoy your turkey.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically
Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA.
I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
No love for Turkey Mike Donlin.
A few years back (Four I would say), on the Friday after Thanksgiving my best friend and I went and found Turkey’s Grave Site which is about 3 miles from my home. We played catch over Turkey’s Grave, left the Baseball for him, and remembered him. I met his daughters last year, and told them of the story. They were forever grateful that we played catch and left Turkey a ball.

Great story, Stray!
