I was contacted by APBA Company CEO John Herson over the weekend. He’s interested in knowing what interest there is among APBA fans for re-issues of XCs. If they were re-issued, they would be actual cards and not the clumsy perforated sheets.
What say you? Is this something that you might be interested in?

Herson is also interested in what seasons people are most interested in seeing issued first. If you do have a preference, leave it in the comments section.
I for one, don’t particularly care for the perforated sheets and would love the “full” experience of XCs on REAL cards. The question, I guess is cost and availability.
I would like to see World Series sets packaged & released with a full 25 man roster on each team. I think with the 110 year anniversary coming up John H would be well served to release 11 year World Series sets starting with 1903 & running through 2003. (22 teams total) Follow that with 1904 through 2004 until all the Series teams are released.
Suplimental sets could include the playoff teams starting in 1969.
To clarify the World Series sets I am talking about: 1903 running through 2003 would include the two Series teams from 1903, 1913, 1923, 1933, 1943, 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 & 2003. The 04′ through 2004 would have all those Series ending in 4’up to and including 2004 etc etc
No real interest here in XC reissues. 25 man rosters are enough for my projects. Definitely would like to see 1975 baseball season ASAP.
1962
I would love to see a re-issue of the 1986 set. It was the first set my dad bought me and I would love to replay with updated cards. Would also like to see:
1979, 1990, or 1991
I would also like to 1991 reissued, or at a minimum XBs and XCs made available. I’m replaying this season and printing the XBs and XCs myself from a BBW season disk, but would love to have a high-quality option for those players.
I’d love to see 1981 for several reasons. First, I have the set as well as the XBs, but the other is that since it’s a strike year it’s a reasonable league replay project even with a 26-team MLB.
I’d like to see XCs and the updated core sets for the 70s era and 1988-91 XBs or XCs in particular.
DOES ANYBODY SELL XC INDIVIDUAL CARDS, EXAMPLE :
1965 BOBBY MURCER YANKEES
2013 BRIAN WILSON DODGERS CARD
1980 VON JOSHUA PADRES
