A 1984 replay recap at BoardGameGeek

Not too long ago, I did a loose replay of the 1984 NL playoffs with my buddy Brando.  So my curiosity was piqued when I ran across this replay by Jim Dietz of the 1984 NL and AL seasons and postseason over at BoardGameGeek.

I was even more interested when I saw that Jim was a Cubs fan and further, the Chicago Cubs had won the NL Championship in his replay.  Alas, this part made me cringe:

World Series: Detroit sweeps Chicago 4 games to 0. Sigh.

Jim’s replay summary includes everything that makes this kind of thing fun to read.  Not just stats but season awards, highlights, and since he obviously was a Cubs fan, a comparison between replay and real life stats of the Cubs lineup.

Great work, Jim!

I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
