Past Baseball Digests online

Chalk up another one for my buddy, Chuck.  He pointed me to a 1966 Baseball Digest article about Koufax and Marichal I might be interested in because of my replay.

But that not the coolest part.

Turns out that the Baseball Digests are all online for our perusal.  So for any of you who are doing past replays of baseball seasons and want to get a flavor for that particular season, this is a great way.

Here is the link to the Baseball Digest archive via Google Books.

Thomas Nelshoppen

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

  1. The Baseball Digest link above does not work. You must first go to Google Books, and then type in the word baseball. A fill in menu will appear, and scroll down and click Baseball Digest.

    • you can buy a dvd/cdrom of 144 issues of baseball digest on ebay to read on your computer. i did this because i missed being able to read the ones on google books. cost was about 20 bucks. the years are 1945-1963. you can’t beat this for old time reading.
