iScore: keeping stats on the iOS and Android platforms

Jack Beckman writes in recommending a program called iScore to help keep stats.

“I am replaying the 1984 AL season, using the Master charts. I am scoring with a program called iScore Baseball on my iPad (also available for iPhone and Android devices). In addition to making scoring easy, it allows me to gather pretty much all the stats with no more work than scoring the game.

I email out the stats into a database for display and a bit more number-crunching. You can see my replay here – click on the Seasons drop-down to get to the replay. There are also scores for a few APBA mini tourneys I’ve been in (all but one, that all I did was score for).”

If anyone is interested in trying out iScore you can check out their webpage

If it has a trial version, I may give it a try for my Android tablet though I’m pretty wedded to Excel for keeping stats.

Just curious, does anyone else use this??

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

3 Comments:

  1. Never tried it. But I think I’ll check it out, thanks.

  2. Does this app allow you to also roll the dice? Like Ballstat?

  3. It is now free but current MLB rosters is a $20 add-on
