We’re in the midst of APBA Tournament season. These days, it seems it lasts all year. Jim Fraasch has a great article on the twelfth Twin Cities APBA Baseball Tournament up north where you hope the dice don’t get cold. Check his wrap-up out at Jim’s APBA Barn.
This year, it was Dave Norlander who won it with an old classic choice… the 1938 New York Yankees. He faced off against Don Shreve’s 1911 New York Giants and won two of three in the series.
Thirty APBA fans participated in TCABT-XII and ten came from out of state. Kudos to Don who came all the way from Texas!
TCABT is always looking for more managers for future tournaments. If you’re interested, you can contact Jim via this article. TCABT-XIII is scheduled for next April, Saturday the 4th, 2020.
Congratulations to Dave and Don!
This weekend: the Linda B. Schulz MemorialĀ APBA BaseballĀ Tournament. Good luck everyone!!
I want to say congratulations to Dave. He used to be in a league I’m in. A good guy and a good Rush fan. I noticed your concert shirts in some of the group photos. You Must be wearing it under that shirt. Way to go, Dave.
