Prairieland 3 is almost here!
On Saturday, over 20 participants will take part in the third Prairieland APBA Baseball Tournament. This year, it’s the Golden Era tourney with non-World Series teams from 1920-1960.

If you’re wondering, leagues and divisions are named after Golden Era players who hail from Illinois. Robin Roberts has a stadium named after him in Springfield and Lou Boudreau is the University of Illinois’ most famous alumni.
As we all hoped, it is a good mix of ‘20s,‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s teams. Even Bob Spatz is on the edge with the 1960 White Sox.
