The official 2022 season has been uploaded on APBA GO tonight! So, here is a sneak peek.
I knew 2022 MVP Aaron Judge’s card was going to be one of the first I was going to check out. He didn’t disappoint.
In 157 games, Judge hit a historic 62 homers while hitting .311 for the Yankees. He drove in 131 runs while scoring 133 himself. Multi-faceted, Judge also stole 16 bases.
No pitcher wanted to pitch to Judge. He walked 111 times.

If I could have a card like this on my team every year, I’d be quite happy. Judge boasts power numbers 1-1-1-0-0. Three ones is the holy grail for sluggers.
It doesn’t stop there though. There’s a 55-7 and a 15-10. I’m counting five 14s. That’s a lot of on-base chances no matter what grade the pitcher he’s facing.
I still haven’t addressed the fact that Aaron Judge is a OF-3, the best fielding rating he can get in the outfield.
My pet peeve: I like power hitters like Judge who have single column cards. There’s no logical reason for that. I just like the look.

As a vintage replay guy, am not always in tune with modern cards, but seems 31 and 51 should be reversed.
Why? Hasn’t 51 always been better than the 31? Am I missing something?
I agree that I’d rather see a single column for Judge. It is a factor in the Master Game.
I agree with the sentiment that it should be a one-column card. 1, 1, 1, 5, 6 would fit very well.
