The Dice Shaker Project: Brando gives me the “shot” I needed

My buddy John “Brando” Brandeberry is always surprising me with something.  Most of the dice shakers I use are given to me by him, most of them handmade.  This past weekend was no different.  This time, however, it wasn’t homemade.  It was ‘imported’ all the way from Boston’s Fenway Park.

As you can tell, it’s simply a shot glass.  But a shot glass works great as a dice cup.  The dice swirl around like no one’s business before shooting out of the cup.  I can’t say it brought me anymore luck last weekend as I went 11-17 but it was cool to roll out of.  I blame the manager.

You can find all of the Dice Shaker Project submissions here at the APBA Blog Facebook page.  If you have a special dice cup or shaker, feel free to upload to the Facebook page or email to me (and tell me its story!) and I’ll post it.
