TBL managers preview their 2013 draft

Indeed, APBA drafts are in full swing.  The Transcontinental Baseball League hasn’t had theirs yet but (it’s scheduled for February 9th) their managers are getting into the mood by posting previews and pre-analysis.  They are interesting and not without a touch of humor.

To get a feel for things, here is the 2013 TBL Draft Grid.  And here are the quite creative analysis by three guys with a lot of creativity, smarts and probably too much time on their hands ;-)

A Stat-Drunk Look At TBL 2013

All fun reads.  It seems that the consensus is that Bryce Harper will be the #1 pick.  Again.  Time will tell.

Thanks Steve Stein for the update!!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

One Comment:

  1. Interesting preview for leagues who have yet to draft. I did notice that Giuseppe had Harrell being picked twice.
