The 2023 Transcontinental Baseball League Annual is out!

Thanks to the efforts of Walter Hunt and many others, the 2023 Transcontinental Baseball League Annual was compiled and now has been made public.

I know I have lauded the work that gone into past TBL’s Annuals but it is worth repeating. The 2023 version doesn’t disappoint. As usual, it’s fully detailed and visually pleasing. I spent an hour reviewing it this evening and I wish I had a another week to fully devour it. If only the MLB covered the majors like this.

Walter and crew don’t pull any punches in their yearly recaps and upcoming previews. The Annual is written with a dry sense of humor.

Finally, kudos to the Transcontinental Baseball League itself. The league has been around for 40 years and sixteen of them have been members for at least twenty years. I love to see that kind of continuity.

Great work, Walter and TBL!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

One Comment:

  1. Great recap of the TBL season. I’ll be borrowing some of their ideas for a yearbook for the annual OAPBA yearbook.
