Kilg.us returns to my inbox with opening day

With the coming of opening day, also comes the corresponding email notification from kilg.us with stats from my preset team I put in last year.  I’ll admit, I was happily surprised to see that in my inbox.  I didn’t even have to re-activate it.  It just started back up again.

For those who don’t know about kilg.us, I recommend reading my post last year about how several readers turned me on to the fantastic stat notification service.  Being in a APBA league, kilg.us is a great way to keep in touch with how my players are doing in the MLB.

You’re killing me, Tulo.  Don’t make me regret your trade.

As I said, kilg.us started back up again without prompting.  That means it was using my same roster from last year.  I realize I’ll have to adjust my roster with the personnel changes from the off-season.  I’ll admit, it’s a little concerning when the biggest offense I’ve seen on my kilg.us roster so far this year is a player I’ve already traded to another team (I miss you already, Tulo!).  With the IAL draft this weekend, I figure I’ll wait till afterwards before I input the final roster.

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.

  1. I hadn’t seen this site before, and I had been thinking that I had to find a more efficient way to track my players than clicking thropugh all of the box scores each day. Thanks for sharing.
