Kevin Weber is on the air!

Double Take

Faithful readers know Kevin Weber. He’s the good writer on the The APBA Blog. He penned the insanely popular Final Card Friday series and recently wrote about his venture into league APBA.

It turns out Kevin has gotten behind the microphone. He and his twin brother Kirk Weber have launched a podcast called “Double Take” (catchy, huh?). It’s billed as one that is ” breaking down latest in pop culture and sports”.

I finally subscribed to it last night and took a listen and honestly enjoyed it. It comes off as two regular guys who enjoy sports, entertainment and culture and more importantly, like talking about. I listen to podcasts all week with topics ranging from tech, art and sports. Suffice to say, I am keeping Double Take in my feed and am looking forward to the next episode.

And yes, Kevin does talk about baseball and APBA! He even mentioned the 2nd Annual Pitching Grade Challenge that The APBA Blog is conducting in Double Take’s episode #9.

I know how much the readers enjoyed Kevin’s material here on The APBA Blog so I want to make sure to plug the Webers’ podcast in turn. You can listen to Double Take at Anchor’s website or from pretty much any podcast app.

Keep up the great work, Kevin and Kirk!

PS to Kevin and Kirk… My favorite Beatles song ever?? A Day in the Life.

Thomas Nelshoppen

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
