When the cat is away…

Keep Calm and roll 66s mugAs of Monday, I may be out of contact for a couple weeks as I will be on a family vacation.  I may check in if I find a wireless access point now and then.  For now though, I’m leaving capable Scott Fennessy in charge of The APBA Blog.  I already have a few of his articles scheduled to post for the next few weeks but he may post a few more.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make the Chicagoland World Series Tournament tomorrow.  Risking the wrath of Doug Schuyler, I had to make that decision for multiple reasons and let Doug know earlier this month.  I just had too much on plate.  I really am disappointed I couldn’t make it. I was looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.  I’ll be rooting for Scott and his 1981 Montreal Expos.

However, I did order up a few prizes for the tournament and had them sent to Doug.  Hope you enjoy them!

Good luck, Scott.  Don’t burn the place down!

I am an IT consultant by day and an APBA media mogul by night. My passions are baseball (specifically Illini baseball), photography and of course, APBA. I have been fortunate to be part of the basic game Illowa APBA League since 1980 as well as a frequent participant of the Chicagoland APBA Tournament. I am slogging through a 1966 NL replay and hope to finish before I die.
